Dr.Marlene Strehler-Schaaf

Dr. Marlene Strehler-Schaaf is research associate at the Department of Communication at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. She mainly does research in Political Communication, but also in Journalism Studies. Her current projects take a look at the dynamic relationship between social movements and media, journalists' activicts' boundaries and mediated citizenship norms. She also studied the impact of media on political and economic elites' decision making.
