BIO

Stefan Berti holds a diploma in psychology and a master's degree in sports science. He received his doctorate in psychology from the University of Leipzig in 2002. Since 2003 he has been at the Department of Psychology at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, where he teaches Biological Psychology. He is also head of the research ethics board at the Department of Psychology. Currently, his research focusses, among other topics, on investigting the neurocognitive foundations of illusory self-movement perception (vection).
