BIO

I am a postdoctoral researcher at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and serve as editor of the Political Communication Report. I also manage the websites and social media channels for the Political Communication divisions of APSA and ICA. In addition, I’m an active member of the research networks DigiWorld and the Digital Media and Society Observatory. My research explores digital political communication and journalism studies.

Research interests: political communication, journalism studies, othering of outgroups, divisive issues in public discourse.
